Why hire a copywriter?
I fancy myself as a reasonable cook. I’ve been told my dishes are tasty, fill you up, pretty good. I do love to cook but does that mean I’m a chef? Chef’s have an artistry balancing flavours and textures that linger long after the plate is cleared, I can’t say that even of my best go to recipe. Similarly, I’m handy, building things, fixing things but that doesn’t make me a tradie. When I’ve got a complicated project I call a pro. In this world of DIY, Google and youtube we can tackle things outside our wheelhouse however that doesn’t mean we should.
“Think its expensive to hire a professional wait until you hire an amateur”
When it comes to your content a professional copywriter is like a chef or tradie. I write for a living, I do the research and have the skills to create copy that speaks directly to your audience. I’ve spent years learning how SEO works, how a headline grabs attention, when to use short and when to use long copy. I know the psychology of language, how to set a brand tone and what words will persuade your clients to invest in your product, service or experience.
Creative or technical, poetic or explanatory what a customer reads determines what they do next.
